Michael J. Lerner is a principal in the law firm of Denman & Lerner Co. L.P.A. He has been practicing law with the firm since 1993. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation and criminal defense. He has experience handling cases from the inception of the case through the trail and appellate levels and provides representation to injured workers at all administrative levels. Although Michael practices primarily in the counties of Lake, Cuyahoga, Ashtabula and Geauga counties, he has litigated in other counties throughout the state of Ohio. He is also licensed to practice law in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Supreme Court.

Michael earned his B.A. from Vanderbilt University where he majored in economics and graduated with honors. He then attended Case Western Reserve University where he earned his law degree. While in law school, Michael was the Coordinator of Judicial Affairs for the undergraduate school at Case Western where he had the opportunity to oversee all legal matters concerning the student population at the university.

Michael is an active member of the Ohio Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, the Cleveland Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. He also serves regularly as an Acting Judge in a local Municipal Court.

Michael resides in Concord, Ohio with his wife, Susan, and their four children.
